Jude Bellingham has made quite the name for himself at the Spanish Capital just one month after his signing. After making the move from Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund to La Liga on a €103m fee, the Englishman has silenced any speck of doubt regarding his signing for the La Liga giants. Bellingham has taken the League by storm and has 4 goals and 1 assist in 3 games for the Los Blancos. After 3 matchdays, Real Madrid sit top of the table with 9 points.
To no surprise, Jude Bellingham was named player of the month in La Liga for the month of August. He became the first English player ever in history to achieve this feat. His 4 goals and an assist are the highest for a player in the top 10 leagues in Europe. Bellingham has been so good that even Carlo Ancelotti has praised the player on multiple occasions, claiming that he has managed to even fill Karim Benzema’s void in the team with his ability in front of goal.
After Vinicius Junior’s recent injury woes, boss Carlo Ancelotti has decided to play the number 5 even more upfield, due to his stellar goalscoring form. Fans and teammates alike have been impressed with the player’s performances while pundits were quick to praise the player’s adaptability to La Liga. Now the footballing world knows why Birmingham City chose to retire his number 22 at the age of 17.

Mbappe saga continues? Real Madrid making moves on star forward
While many thought that the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga came to an end after recent developments, reports suggest otherwise. According to the French outlet Voz Populi, Real Madrid and Florentino Perez are trying to push for one last time. They also claim that PSG is willing to reduce Mbappe’s asking price by €50m although the actual figures of the deal are unclear.
Many believed that Mbappe’s move to the Bernabeu fell off after Ancelotti made claims that their market was closed and when Mbappe was ‘reinstated’ into the team after initial disagreements with Management. The player was left out of the preseason squad as well as the season opener in Ligue 1.
However, the player is back in the first team and reports suggest that the Frenchman is going to extend his contract further at the end of the season. More reliable sources still claim that the player is staying put at Parc Des Princes.
