Liverpool recently broke their club record to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica for €100 million including add-ons. They have also signed Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay as they add more depth to their squad. The club came very close to winning the quadruple last season and is aiming to achieve that feat this season.

Last season, The Reds managed to play every possible game in a regular football season. They reached the cup finals of the League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League while finishing second in the Premier League by a margin of 1 point.

While they lifted the FA Cup and the League Cup. They lost the Champions League final to Real Madrid. However, Klopp now believes that Liverpool is ready to finally win the treble this season as they prepare for their pre-season.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Jurgen Klopp said, “We have four of the best centre-backs in the world, we have the two best left & right-backs – and we didn’t even speak about the goalkeeper… “

The Anfield club also tied down Mohamed Salah to a new 3-year contract recently and looks all set to compete with Manchester City for the Premier League title for the new season.

However, it won’t be as easy as before. Chelsea has also strengthened their squads along with Arsenal while Tottenham has made 5 signings to make their team worthy of competing in the Premier League with Antonio Conte.

While Liverpool boast one of the most balanced squad in Europe with a deadly attack and a strong defence, the German manager will still be confident of winning his second Premier League title with the Reds next season.
