Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli has come out with a bold, loud statement that their forward, Dusan Vlahovic is not available for transfer. The reports have come in from Italy by the renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano. This news affects Premier League giants, Arsenal, who reportedly had intentions to acquire the Serbian player after they suffered a debacle in signing Ivan Toney.
Arsenal want a new striker because Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah haven’t performed well. The trio of Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka has scored only 20 goals this season, much less than Liverpool and Manchester City. Even though there are other options, the Gunners have been interested in Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic for a while.

Arsenal expressed their interest in signing the 23-year-old striker after Thomas Frank induced a massive blow to Arsenal in the pursuit of Brentford forward Ivan Toney. The London-based club might now face another hindrance in their pursuit of a striker.
Giuntoli has further stated that he lacked any information about a bid for the player, and affirmed the club’s intent to retain their valued No.9. Moreover, Vlahovic’s future appears uncertain as Juventus faces the possibility of selling players amid financial struggles.
Despite his modest performance in Turin, scoring 29 goals in 79 matches, the 23-year-old still possesses significant potential. Mikel Arteta remains keen on the Serbian player, admiring him greatly. If Arteta fails to secure Dusan, his interest might shift to other targets like Dominic Solanke, Victor Boniface, and Victor Osimhen.
Young Ajax defender emerges as a surprising transfer target for Arsenal
Premier League side, Arsenal are aiming for significant spending in the current transfer window. The club has shown interest in acquiring a new defender to offer support to their existing defensive lineup. The Telegraph reported that 17-year-old Ajax talent Jorrel Hato has surprisingly emerged as a transfer target for the Gunners.
The Gunners seem impressed by the Dutch teenager’s defensive skills. He has played 40 times for Ajax in the Eredivisie. Ajax struggled at first this season but improved and is now in the top half of the table. Arsenal might make a surprising offer for him, but signs suggest they could wait until next summer to secure his services.
Jorrel Hato might follow Dutch defender Jurrien Timber, who joined Arsenal last summer for £34 million. At just 17, Hato could be a backup for Arsenal’s main center-backs, Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.
