Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Kylian Mbappe‘s younger brother Ethan, who also plays for PSG, alongside the 2018 World Cup winner. The Mbappe family has urged the club to pursue the 17-year-old youngster.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has been part of a long-standing transfer saga with Real Madrid since 2017. This saga is anticipated to conclude next season as Kylian’s contract with PSG ends in the summer transfer window. Despite the player’s recent meeting with the French president and the Emir of Qatar, Fabrizio Romano reported that the ex-Monaco forward might have verbally agreed to move to the Spanish capital, with no plans to deviate.
The Mbappe transfer saga has reemerged with a crucial detail regarding the future of Kylian’s younger brother, Ethan. The Mbappe family has reportedly asked Real Madrid to recruit his brother, during the upcoming summer transfer window. Recent reports indicate that Real Madrid may indeed consider the transfer, potentially leading to Ethan’s first professional football contract. Moreover, similar to his brother, Ethan’s contract with PSG expires in June of this year.
Younger Mbappe, who is currently 17 years old, plays for the youth PSG side as a midfielder. He has also made a Ligue 1 appearance this season, following in the footsteps of his elder brother. For PSG under-19, Ethan has contributed with 5 goals and 4 assists in 25 matches.
La Liga president Javier Tebas believes that Kylian Mbappe has already signed for Real Madrid
La Liga president Javier Tebas in a recent interview, revealed that he feels PSG star Kylian Mbappe has already signed for Real Madrid. Mbappe is expected to transfer to the Spanish capital next summer and may have reached an agreement with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Tebas’ claims came to light after PSG manager Luis Enrique’s recent remark that the team must adjust to playing without Mbappe. Enrique made this comment after PSG’s 1-1 draw with Rennes, during which he substituted Mbappe before the end of the match. The La Liga president expressed his belief that the 2018 WC winner is already a ‘Galactico’.
Furthermore, Tebas rejected the idea that the club would need to offload players to afford Mbappe’s huge salary. Mbappe has reportedly informed his PSG teammates about his intention to depart the club after this season.
