Paris Saint Germain and France forward Kylian Mbappe reportedly asked £206m if he is to join any club this summer. Mbappe is the hottest prospect in the game right now and he will go for free next season if Paris Saint Germain do not sell him in this transfer window.
Mbappelast season scored 41 goals in 43 games for PSG. The striker also scored 13 more goals for the France national team last year. The World Cup 2018 winner is in a cold tussle with PSG higher-ups regarding his contract. The player was asked to sign a mammoth contract last season to make him stay for two more years to help the team win the Champions League. However, Mbappe was also given the authority to choose whether he wants to resign after the deal or not. The Frenchman has communicated that he does not want to sign another contract with PSG. In that case, the club can either buy Mbappe this season or he can go for free the next summer.
The forward released a statement in which he pointed to PSG’s ‘shortcomings’ as a major factor behind his decision. Mbappe has reportedly been linked to a number of clubs, including Real Madrid. Mbappe snubbed the Spanish Giants last summer.
According to Marca, Mbappe’s mother and agent Fayza Lamari would ask for a package worth £206m from any club for the services of her son. Real Madrid has reportedly planned to approach him as a free agent next summer. With no transfer money to be paid, Florentino Perez would not mind committing to the deal with the player if need be.
With not many options left, and the huge financial considerations, this means that despite Karim Benzema’s departure, Carlo Ancelotti’s side won’t bring in another striker currently. Although they have brought Joselu on a loan deal for the upcoming season.

PSG star Kylian Mbappe was reportedly seen enjoying his holidays and relaxing on the beach of Miami. He was seen trying his hand at a game of Jenga.
The French striker was spotted relaxing on the beach in Miami during a sunny day in the US city. Mbappe was pictured with a female partner as they played the British board game Jenga. He was also seen chilling in the shade under a sun umbrella.
Mbappe was reportedly wearing red shorts, black sunglasses, and a black cap. Both seemed to be involved in an extremely competitive battle of Jhenga.
Mbappe reportedly took the world by surprise as he announced his decision to leave PSG at the end of the upcoming season in 2024. He sent a letter to the PSG hierarchy stating the same. Although he has a clause in his contract that would allow him to stay at the club for an extra season, he has decided not to trigger the extension.
PSG hierarchy although didn’t like this sudden decision of the player. They felt it was unnecessary for the player to send the letter. Now the club bosses are determined that there are only two ways to this problem. Either the player has to sign a new deal and stay at the club or the club will sell him this season for a fair amount of fees. Either way, the club doesn’t want to let Mbappe leave for free next summer.
