Kylian Mbappe has been the face of PSG ever since he made a name for himself with the Parisiens. The 24-year-old however, is edging all the more closer to a move away from the French champions. Former France international and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has had his say on the matter, with his verdict coming off as a strong warning to the youngster.
Henry put himself in the place of the current French national team captain claiming he would not leave Paris in such a situation. Henry urged the youngster to win the league with PSG and announced that he “loves” the club. The Frenchman hails from north-eastern Paris and according to Henry, Mbappe should “stay till the end” at PSG.

Real Madrid have shown great interest in the forward and have failed twice in their attempts to sign him. However, the club is convinced that the youngster will end up at the club ‘sooner or later’.
Even though Mbappe’s current contract runs out in June 2024, Madrid may also pay a fee to secure Mbappe in January. It remains to be seen whether the player will choose to extend his stay at PSG, but rumors are that he has communicated his decision to ‘leave’.
FIFA The Best Awards – Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland?
The FIFA Best Awards are set to be announced on January 15th as fans are witness to yet another ‘three horse race’. Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Erling Haaland were revealed as the finalists (top 3) on Thursday. With Messi winning the 2023 Ballon d’Or, fans are excited as to who will clinch ‘The Best’ title. All 3 of the players have a strong ‘claim’ to the award, adding to the anticipation.
Erling Haaland’s record-breaking year saw the Cityzens lift the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Cup. His monstrous 52 goals last season earned him a runner-up spot in the 2023 Ballon d’Or podium. Lionel Messi on the other hand has won the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Argentina while also lifting the coveted Ballon d’Or trophy.
His move to Inter Miami may have hampered his chances to win the award, leaving Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to battle it out on January 15th. The Frenchman led his side to the Ligue 1 title, scoring 41 goals and making 10 assists in all competitions in the process. Aitana Bonmati, Linda Caicedo, and Jenni Hermoso make the shortlist for the Women’s Best Player award.
