With the big-money departure of Neymar Jr. & the shipping off of several La Masia players to foreign leagues and clubs made many believe that the club will let go of their most prized assets if the right offer arrives. While the departure of Neymar changed the entire course of Barcelona’s recent seasons, the club are faced with a similar conundrum in Lamine Yamal.

The La Masia talent, who is only 16 years old, has become nothing less than a starter at Barcelona. His effortless grace on the pitch and ability to produce crucial goals or goal contributions makes it easy to understand why the Blaugrana value him so much. The winger is also the youngest ever to both play and score for the Spanish National team.

Joan Laporta reveals Barcelona’s plans in the transfer market

Despite there still being several financial restraints on the club, smart decisions in the transfer market and changes in policy have helped the club greatly. Laporta recently revealed the club’s stand and approach to players in the transfer market. While several rumors state that the club will be forced to sell their best players, Laporta for one, certainly doesn’t think so.

We don't want to sell any big player of ours. If all goes to plan, we won't be forced to sell any player. If someone wants to leave, we won't stop them. But that's not my concern at all. We want to keep the same set of players.

The club resorted primarily to loan deals and temporary signings such as that of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo, on loan from Atletico Madrid and Manchester City.
