Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski said it would be amazing to share the pitch with Lionel Messi next season. The Polish player also emphasized that Barcelona is the ‘real home’ of the Argentine forward. The former Bayern Munich goal machine has always expressed his wish to play with the Argentine.
The La Liga giants are leading the table this current season. They have a lead of 13 points over their arch-rival Real Madrid. The Polish striker recorded 27 goals and seven Assists in a total of 36 matches played in all competitions. The former Barcelona forward has recorded 19 goals and 18 assists in 34 games for PSG, although his form has dropped off recently.
There is a lot of speculation regarding the transfer of the seven times Ballon D’or winner back to Barcelona. The president of the Spanish Giants Joan Laporta has reportedly contacted Messi’s father regarding the player’s potential transfer.
The current manager of Barcelona, Xavi is reportedly having a number of telephonic conversations with the PSG star. The PSG star is now waiting for the formal call from the Blaugrana president regarding the transfer. The Polish forward Lewandowski is also looking to pair up with the Argentine World Cup winner next season to continue their winning run.

Barcelona may not make a new contract with Gavi, making Messi transfer easier.
Gavi’s agent is reportedly contacted by Chelsea. The Blues are reportedly interested to sign the 18-year-old on a free transfer. The young midfielder had a brilliant season in La Liga but his contact with his current club is about to end.
It is reported that the Catalonians may let the young Spaniards transfer to the Blues next season. This move may be allowed by the Spanish Giants as their current priority is to bring Messi back to Spain.
however, it has been reported that the move to Barcelona for the 35-year-old Argentine is a bit difficult due to FFP rules and regulations. Reportedly many other players including Ansu Fati, Raphina and Ferran Torres along with the 18-year-old are linked with many other clubs before the next transfer window. This would reduce the wage bill. It will allow the club to bring their former star back to the club and reform the team for a better campaign next season.
