Ligue 1 champion Yusuf Yazici has had his residence burgled not once, but twice! The 26-year-old midfielder currently piles his trade at Lille, who are 4th in Ligue 1. The player made headlines for opening the scoring against Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag (KÍ) in the Europa Conference League. However, another harrowing incident took place while the player was on duty for his club.

Yusuf Yazici is a Turkish professional footballer and has been a Lille player since February 2019. The attacking midfielder played an important role in Lille’s Ligue 1 triumph in 2021. As for his form this season, the player has scored 7 goals from 21 outings for the club. The £1.3 million worth of player’s home was ‘ransacked’ for the second time since 2019. The burglary which occurred on Friday saw several valuables stolen from his residence in France.

Two expensive watches as well as clothes and leather goods were stolen in the burglary. He lives with his partner Cemrenaz Turhan, who is a Miss Turkey title holder. Recurring burglaries and unpleasant experiences after moving to France may force the player to move away from Ligue 1. He has been on loan deals at CSKA Moscow and Trabzonspor.

Casemiro Ligue 1 bound ? Manchester United ready to let go of UCL winner

Ligue 1 champions PSG have expressed their interest in Manchester United defender Casemiro. The Brazilian left Real Madrid to join the Red Devils on a £70 million (inclusive of add-ons) fee. He joined the club in 2022 August but has failed to make a significant impact at the club. Even though the midfielder put up some notable performances in his initial season, recurring injuries and inconsistent form have seen him drop out from the starting XI.

As per recent rumors, Casemiro is willing to leave the club in January. Transfer market giants PSG are frontrunners to secure his services. Other clubs in the race include Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal. It is understood that they are willing to offer a £15 million contract for the Brazilian. Another ‘unnamed’ Italian club is also in the running for his signature.

Casemiro has over two years left in his contract, but poor form and significant wages may steer things toward a departure. Casemiro has scored 4 goals from 12 appearances for the club this season. He is currently nursing an injury that was picked up in October and is not expected to return until after Christmas.
