As we said from the start, to see all these people, our family, during the whole World Cup, it is incredible what we’ve experienced. Lionel Messi vs Diego Maradona, who wore the No. 10 better?

Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi

Diego Maradona could not only be the greatest ever No.10 for Argentina but the greatest ever player to wear the #10 jersey. While plenty other modern-day stars have scored more goals and broken more records, Diego made an entire country or perhaps a continent watch the sport of football.

From a reverse step over to in-game rabona, Diego Maradona was the first person to do it all. Not only was he a footballing genius but also was a great leader who had immense passion and charisma to lead Argentina against European giants. Given his relatively small height and low center of gravity only meant he could twist, turn and accelerate incredibly quickly.

Perhaps the only thing distancing Maradona with Messi is the triumph they have achieved in international football. Safe to say, Lionel Messi is undeniably the greatest ever natural footballer this sport has ever witnessed. From winning the Cope America silverware couple of years ago, to leading his team in Qatar-if LM10 does win the golden trophy, he might acclaim himself as the most prestigious, celebrated and accomplished player.

In the seven games for Argentina in the 2022 World Cup, Messi wasn’t just about dribbling, link-up play, vision and ability to thread a through-ball that no-one else could see but he rose when the odds were settled against his team.
