As Lionel Messi gets ready to enter his first full season at Inter Miami, there is no doubt that the Argentine is loving life in the USA. A recent video making rounds on social media features the Miami #10 partying in a luxury restaurant in Miami. To add to the mix, he was joined by former FC Barcelona and Miami teammates Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets.

The Argentine signed for Inter Miami in July of last year. Even though he led the club to its first trophy by lifting the Leagues Cup, an untimely injury saw him sit out crucial games at the later end of the season. As of now, the player is back in Miami training as Luis Suarez has become the latest to join the club owned by David Beckham. Miami kicked off their pre-season against El Salvador on Friday.

The viral video features Messi, Alba, Suarez, and Busquets enjoying their time with a group of people dancing and cheering to the tune of music. Several fans have hailed the Argentine and commented that his completing football allows him to have fun and enjoy his time off as he pleases.

Meanwhile, others took digs at Cristiano Ronaldo for his recent comments questioning the credibility of the Ballon d’Or and FIFA The Best in regards to Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo‘s rivalry with Lionel Messi is showing no signs of coming to a close. Even though the Argentine has been silent regarding his relationship/rivalry with Ronaldo, the Portuguese has been the opposite. Ronaldo has time and again made comments regarding the rivalry between the two, with his most recent comment initiating controversy on social media.

As Ronaldo was awarded the Best Middle East Player and Fans Favorite Player of the Year, he appeared to take a dig at Lionel Messi’s FIFA The Best victory. Answering questions after winning the award, Ronaldo said,

I'm used to this and know how these organizations work. I didn't watch the ceremony for The Best Awards. These awards are losing credibility in a way. I'm not saying that Messi didn't deserve it, or Haaland or even Mbappe.

Moreover, he also claimed that the Saudi Pro League is better than Ligue 1. It is no surprise that Lionel Messi played for PSG before his departure to the MLS. Despite this Ronaldo failed to make the top three of the FIFA The Best as Lionel Messi beat Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to the award. Ronaldo ended 2023 as Global top scorer after scoring 54 goals in all competitions.
