Lionel Messi makes it look easy as Scott Arfield reminisces his game for Charlotte FC against Inter Miami. “He made me cuddle my teammate,” the midfielder spoke as Messi dribbled past the players.

A 4-0 victory in the Leagues Cup Quarter Finals saw Inter Miami progress to the Semis. Charlotte midfielder, Scott Arfield, 34, mentioned his experience playing against the World Cup Winner. “I tried to tackle him”, he said. But the Argentinian just wriggled past the Charlotte players like it was nothing.

Further, Scott explained that Karol Swiderski attempted to chase Messi as he received the ball. Scott even stepped forward to help his teammate apply pressure on the Argentine. One push of the ball to the left and Messi was through, leaving the two teammates embracing one another. Lionel Messi would later in the game join the scoreboard as he scored Inter Miami’s 4th goal of the game in the 89th minute.

Messi, too quick and tricky for the defender, sailed smoothly keeping his composure. Gvardiol failed to keep up.
