The Argentina national team is expected to have access to Lionel Messi from PSG starting the next week. Even before the final roster is revealed, on 7th January Messi might be with the Argentina national squad. Messi has requested that PSG head coach Christophe Galtier not start the team next weekend, according to Fino Yossen.

Lionel Messi has a priority provision in his contract, thus he will be eligible beginning January. There were rumors that Messi’s contract with PSG included a provision giving the Argentina national team priority.
