As the United bus edged closer to the stadium, fans surrounded the area and threw a bunch of objects. It included this bottle which apparently caused damage to the window of the upper deck on one of the two coaches that United took on their short trip to Liverpool.
The club has since promised to hold individuals accountable and punish them accordingly, through their sanction process. This incident certainly fuels fire to the clash between the two sides who share a historic rivalry.
