Liverpool fans blast the Premier League after scheduling away game against Manchester City very late in the season

Liverpool will travel to the Etihad to take on their most difficult opponents on the 1st of April next year in what could be a title-deciding fixture. This fixture schedule was not taken lightly by the fans who called in the Premier League for scheduling such a crucial away game so late in the season.
Last season as well, Liverpool’s away game against Manchester City was scheduled on 10th April, in GW 32. Liverpool’s second game of the league against Manchester City has always been in the second half of the season for the last few years, causing a stir among fans who think it’s unfair to the team’s chances of lifting the Premier League.
Liverpool will play Manchester United in GW 3, City get a dream start to the season
The Reds’ first 2 months in the Premier League will see them travel to Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge and Goodison Park. While the Reds won’t compare for the kind of start they have got to the new season, it is definitely difficult compared to that of Manchester City.
Manchester City’s first big game in the Premier League is in GW 7 against Tottenham Hotspurs, although even that is a home game. The defending Champions have got a dream start to the season with their opening games against teams like West Ham, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
Liverpool and Manchester City will play their first game of the league season on 15th October at Anfield. The second one will be at the Ethiad, something that Liverpool fans haven’t liked. Many were seen taking to Twitter to share their opinion on the bias of the Premier League for the pictures.
