Liverpool have rejected a massive bid for star man Mohamed Salah from Saudi club Al Ittihad. After rumors suggesting that the Saudi club was strongly interested in the player, Al Ittihad finally submitted an initial bid of almost $190 million. But Liverpool are not interested in selling their main man and have rejected the offer.

Club management, Head coach Jurgen Klopp, and Mohamed Salah’s agent have reiterated multiple times that neither the club nor the player has any intention to leave the club. Klopp has recently stated that the number 11 “remains committed to LFC.” Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa also went on the record to state that the Egyptian would not have signed an extension until 2025 had he not had plans to stay at Anfield.

Even though the European transfer window ends on the 1st of September, the Saudi League has an extended window that does not close until mid-September. Hence, there is no doubt that the Saudi club will push relentlessly for the player. As a result, Liverpool and the fans will be on the edge. But, for now, the club remains adamant that Mo Salah is not for sale!

On the deadline day, Liverpool and Bayern Munich have agreed on a €40m fee for Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. After losing 5 midfielders including Jordan Henderson, Fabinho Liverpool were poised for a midfield revamp. Up until today, they had just signed Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo leaving the fans unimpressed.

Although the links between the Reds and the player have been going on for a while, it was not until the deadline day that the news was confirmed. The player will join Liverpool on a five-year-deal and is set to undergo his medical on Friday.

Further, the move is perfect for Ryan to start his redemption arc. At least fans will be hopeful for the player to write his own good here at the Merseyside.
