Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the most popular players currently playing in the Premier League. Playing right-back for Liverpool since 2016, Alexander-Arnold has been instrumental in winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. 

Thanks to his great performances, he has also risen in popularity among fans, with some young footballers also idolizing him. His performances have made him a fan-favorite, but a ‘weird’ fan has caused problems for the star and his family.

The Sun has revealed that a female fan has been stalking the player, sending him obscene letters. Along with that, she has turned up at the star’s house, favorite restaurants, and the Liverpool training ground. She has also been in contact with his family according to reports, causing the family great distress.

Alexander-Arnold has now changed his number, installed CCTV cameras in his properties, and has decided to scan all the emails he receives. Along with that, he has hired a bodyguard and a private investigator to ensure his and his family’s safety. 

This stalker has been following him for over a year, with the Liverpool Training Center staff also being notified about it. According to The Sun, a source from the club said the stalker got his number and address, terrorizing him up to the point that his performances on the field could also be affected.

In a recent video uploaded by JD Sports on TikTok, Trent Alexander-Arnold was made to pick the best player in the world through a mini-tournament. Sixteen players were drawn in it, and at the end of it, Lionel Messi was the winner.

His Liverpool teammate, Mohamed Salah, went on till the semi-finals, with Alexander-Arnold choosing him over Harry Kane, but Cristiano Ronaldo was picked over the Egyptian. Meanwhile, Messi was picked over Erling Haaland, Thierry Henry, and in the finals, Ronaldo. 

On Sunday, Liverpool faces Chelsea in the Carabao Cup finals. Unfortunately, Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out as he tore a ligament in his knee, an injury that will see him out for another month. Along with the 26-year-old, Alisson Becker, Curtis Jones, and Diogo Jota have been ruled out. Dominik Szoboszlai, Darwin Nunez, and Mohamed Salah still haven’t fully recovered from their injuries but could make an appearance.
