Liverpool’s key star suffers major setback ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup

Luiz Diaz
After Liverpool’s 3-2 loss to Arsenal yesterday, winger Luis Diaz left the Emirates Stadium with his knee in a brace after suffering an injury during the game. He may have only been hinting at the extent of the damage.
Unsurprisingly, Luis Diaz was having a strong game and had already contributed an assist when he got hurt. Minutes before halftime, Diaz attempted to shrug off the knock but limped off and was replaced by eventual goal scorer Roberto Firmino.
The Reds winger may have unintentionally provided an injury update, thanks to Liverpool Echo’s Liverpool FC correspondent Paul Gorst.
The study claims: “A solemn and dejected Luis Diaz made his way through the post-match mixed zone on crutches and in a knee brace at the Emirates as the Liverpool players headed for the team bus.”
And it was what Diaz reportedly did that may speak volumes about the injury he sustained.
“A downbeat Diaz didn’t stop to speak to reporters but offered a grimace and a disappointed shake of the head when asked by one member of the press how bad the injury actually was as he walked through towards the bus.”
Contributions made by Luiz Diaz to Liverpool so far

Diaz has ignited his Anfield career by getting started right away after his January move from Porto. He has quickly become a fan favourite among the Anfield faithful thanks to his brilliant ball handling skills and unwavering tenacity.
Diaz never gave up during the terrible night in Naples as he tried to lead his team forward with intense front-line pressing and when he had the ball, he purposefully drove towards the Napoli defence.

However, he hardly got any assistance from his teammates, who were doing far worse than expected. Diaz became the star performer in red as a result of his personal achievements.
As a result of his knee injury against Arsenal, Luis Diaz will be out for the next 10 games. After the World Cup, he’s anticipated to make a return towards the end of December.
