Real Madrid’s Luka Modric, in a recent interview, shared his desire to continue winning trophies and matches during his time at the club, providing insight into his future in the Spanish capital. Recent reports suggest that Madrid would not extend Modric’s contract next season, potentially concluding his 12-year tenure with Los Blancos.

The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner, hailed as one of the greatest midfielders, contributed significantly to Real Madrid’s collection of trophies, including five UEFA Champions League and three La Liga titles, following his move from Tottenham in 2012. Modric has made around 500 appearances for Real, scoring 38 goals in all competitions. However, the emergence of younger talents like Valverde, Jude Bellingham, and Camavinga has limited Modric’s starting opportunities at Real, fueling speculation about a potential departure from the club in the summer of 2024.
