Sky Sports is set to use ‘Game Mode’ in the upcoming Arsenal vs Manchester City match. As the name suggests, the angle is similar to that seen in video games. ‘FIFA‘ gameplay is the best example of the ‘Game Mode’ viewing angle. The angle offers a new perspective. Therefore, it allows the viewer to see runs and passes from a unique angle.

Even though ‘Game Mode’ is a new innovation in the Premier League, it has been used before. Previously, the ‘railcam’ viewing angle was debuted in a Women’s Super League match. When Arsenal women hosted Liverpool women at the Emirates.

Moreover, if proven successful, the camera angle will be used in all future League games. As a start, the ‘Game Mode’ will replace the standard viewing angle on Sky Sports.
