And to finish like this, it’s the best,”. Argentina was seen as a top contender for the tournament, but their loss to Saudi Arabia raised some questions. This was their first defeat after a streak of 36 wins without a loss before they arrived in Qatar.
On Sunday, Messi will have the chance to add to his 172 international caps as he takes the field for the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Argentina have the opportunity to bring home their third World Cup title and finally give Messi the recognition he deserves for his incredible career.
