Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw has been slapped with four parking fines totaling £240 for keeping his £180,000 car parked at the Wilmslow train station in England. The luxury car was parked for an extended duration, resulting in four fines of £60 each.
The English international, who transferred to Manchester United from Southampton in 2014 for £30 million, has been out of action due to injury since December 23. Shaw was supposed to return in the match against Tottenham but was excluded due to fitness issues. Moreover, his involvement in Manchester United’s upcoming few games remains uncertain.
Considered one of the best left-backs in the game right now, the 28-year-old has made ten appearances this season. Manchester United’s defender received four parking fines totaling £240 for leaving his Lamborghini Urus parked at Wilmslow train station. Shaw, although, earns a weekly wage of £150,000, which would make the parking ticket amount seem too insignificant for him.
This luxury car was photographed with tickets stuck on its windscreen, suggesting it was parked at the station for a considerable length of time. In a similar incident, teammate Marcus Rashford also faced a £60 parking fine for leaving his McLaren supercar on double yellow lines outside a restaurant in Cheshire.

Many top players and managers have been slapped with hefty parking penalties. In another hilarious incident back in August 2023, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola received a parking fine, and the traffic officer, in a humorous twist, requested a photo with the Spanish coach.
Chelsea are considering a shock transfer for United star Luke Shaw to solve left-back crisis
The Daily Express in a recent report claimed that Chelsea might consider a shock bid to sign Manchester United left-back, Luke Shaw, to solve their left-back crisis. Injuries to their usual left-backs, Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella, have left the team in need of reinforcements.
The 28-year-old United star is reportedly on Mauricio Pochettino’s five-man transfer shortlist. With Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella facing extended periods on the sidelines and Ian Maatsen loaned out to Dortmund, the left-back position has become a priority for the team. In the absence of regular players, right-back Malo Gusto has been filling in as left-back until a replacement arrives.
The team is currently grappling with multiple injuries, affecting key players like captain Reece James, Wesley Fofana, goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, and Christopher Nkunku. Chelsea is hoping to improve their form as they currently sit in the 9th position on the Premier League table.
