Premier League giants, Manchester City are reportedly nearing the final stages to sign Argentinean talent, Claudio Echeverri from River Plate. The 17-year-old midfield sensation might move to the reigning UCL champions for around €20 million, with both clubs arranging discussions to settle on the transfer fee.
The 17-year-old player, once wanted by Barcelona, may soon team up with Julian Alvarez, a 2022 FIFA World Cup winner who did well at Manchester City. City is currently in talks to sign the midfielder for €20 million, possibly with a loan-back deal similar to Alvarez’s transfer in 2022. In that deal, City bought Alvarez for £14 million in January 2022 but let him stay on loan at River Plate until the summer.
