In February, Premier League accused Manchester City, the club that won four titles out of six and is on the verge of winning its fifth title this season. Man City was charged with breaking several rules regarding income and expenditure. And if found guilty, they could be banned from the league or can even lose their titles.
However, now the blues have made their first step to prove their innocence. Man City has charged questions on the involvement of Murray Rosen KC in the investigations for the allegations charged on the club.
Murray Rosen KC is the head of the league’s independent judicial panel. But Man City doesn’t have a problem with that. But the Blues have a problem with being an Arsenal member. Mr. Rosen’s profile on the chambers mentions him being an Arsenal member.
And this has made Manchester City ask a question to the Premier League. Not to forget Man City and Arsenal have been in rough competition this year for winning the league and with recent matches it has now been clear that Arsenal has now bottled the title after staying in the top position for almost a season.
Pep Guardiola thinks that having Mr. Rosen would create problems for Man City as the head is an Arsenal fan and would be biased in the investigation. The Blues have also claimed that they also have indisputable evidence that will help them to prove their innocence.
