The Premier League champions and contenders for this year’s title race Manchester City have made a new commercial partnership deal with the official betting firm ‘8xbet’, and since their potential commercial success has been into question by the Premier League authorities, and the irregularities of finances produced, as per reports.
A week ago the club announced the highest commercial revenues in the history of English football. A Norwegian magazine Josimar followed this by asking about apparent contradictions in 8xbet’s claimed history, from when they were founded to who actually worked for them, concluding with no such response.
Many speculations surrounding the ceremonies that were conducted of the announcement that the Blues were joining hands with the founder of the betting company, as they precious gave a statement saying there must be a celebration matching those when a new star is signed for a club.
The Premier League authorities have been sort of looking into the matter regarding the club’s denial of events that took place, and the record of a very high financial revenue that has been generated, considering the history of the brand, their relationship has been in question, and rightfully so.
