“We know what to do,” Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag issues stern warning to Arsenal ahead of Premier League clash
Manchester United are the only team to lodge a win against the Gunners this season

Erik Ten hag sends warning to Arsenal ahead of Premier League clash
Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag believes there is no luck in Arsenal’s unexpected surge to the top of the Premier League table. However, the former Ajax manager believes the Red Devils can beat the league leaders in their clash on Sunday (January 22).
The Mikel Arteta-managed side have emerged as the surprise title favorites. The Gunners are five points ahead of defending champions Manchester City. The all-important clash of the Premier League title contenders will take place at the Emirates Stadium, in London.
Arsenal came fifth last season, but they can do the impossible if they keep playing like this. Notably, it will be Arsenal’s first Premier League title since 2004.
“So, they are in a great run but it is up to us to beat that run and we will do everything to do that. We know what to do, have to be really good and put in a really good performance. But if we do, I think we have a good chance also to get out of that performance a good result.” added Ten Hag.
Interestingly, Manchester United are the only team this season who have defeated the Gunners. The Red Devils defeated Arsenal 3-1 in September 2022 at Old Trafford.
Erik Ten Hag gives update on Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho

Following his poor form previous season, Jadon Sancho lost his spot in the starting eleven with the likes of Marcus Rashford stepping up with goals on the occasion. Since Antony’s signing, Sancho has found himself in a difficult spot get back in the Red Devils playing eleven.
Notably, Sancho’s last competitive appearance came in three months earlier against Chelsea in the Premier League. Recently, Ten Hag was asked whether the major signing from Dortmund will play the Arsenal fixture or not.
“I can’t answer that question,” the Dutchman told reporters on Friday, as quoted by the BBC’s Simon Peach. “He’s making the next step because (Tuesday) he was for the first time in team training… we will extend that in the coming days, the coming week and then go step by step.”
The 22-year-old’s availability for the upcoming clash against Arsenal still remains a mystery. However, the good news for the fans is that he has started training with the first team again since last Friday.
