Rio Ferdinand and IShowSpeed caused a buzz on social media as they were captured barking together on a live YouTube stream. The two appeared during Speed’s reaction to the recently played charity match, in which the YouTube All-Stars and Sidemen participated. They reported that the game raised almost 3 million euros.
Rio Ferdinand, a respected figure in football, surprised his followers with such unexpected behavior. Some fans even liked his reaction to being AI-generated, given his history of playing fantastic games.
Ferdinand also reacted to Speed’s unbelievably bad penalty, almost sarcastically relating him to Cristiano Ronaldo as he missed. He was seen having an interestingly fun time with the YouTuber known for his antics. Ferdinand and Speed’s video gathered over 450k views on YouTube, causing a frenzy amongst fans.
He further compared his running and dribbling moves to Raheem Sterling’s, which offended Speed. Ferdinand thought his idol’s ex-teammate would swiftly compare the two, only to be disappointed. The Sideman charity game has consistently produced some memorable moments for the Internet and has entertained many pundits.

Rio Ferdinand makes Oleksandr Zinchenko make serious claim on Rodri
In a recent podcast with Rio Ferdinand, former Manchester City footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko made a candid revelation. He openly stated that his current Arsenal full-back partner, Thomas Partey, is superior to the Manchester City player who scored the Champions League-winning goal.
Zinchenko said that although Rodri fit into City’s system perfectly, he couldn’t execute Partey’s versatility. He even invited Ferdinand to an Arsenal training session to further support his claim. He firmly believed that the Ghanaian footballer possessed all the necessary qualities to become more critical to the team.
Things took a severe turn when Ferdinand, a United legend, amusingly exited the room to avoid escalating the controversy. Rodri and Manchester City have not yet responded to these comments. However, it could be a creative way to motivate his teammates through a healthy comparison with one of the world’s best players.
