Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson defends Ryan Giggs in court over charges of assault

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has taken a stand to defend his former player Ryan Giggs who has been accused of physically abusing his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville. When enquiring about Ryan Giggs and his anger, Ferguson told the court that he has never seen him lose his temper.

The former Red Devil star Ryan Giggs is presently going through a trial. He also has the highest number of assists in the English Premier League. He retired the year 2014 and then served as an interim manager of Manchester United the same year.

Ryan Giggs who was once one of the highly celebrated footballers in the world is now facing a very hard time with the trial and public reaction to the issue. He had thirteen Premier League titles, two Champion League trophies, and many more during his reign.

Sir Alex Ferguson also praised him for the effort he had put in as a player. He said,

To have a career as long as he had in a difficult position, in terms of energy, he fulfilled everything we ever wished for.

Kate Grivelle’s letter got examined in court in which she talks about Ryan Giggs and the mistreatment she had to face from him. She also questioned and pointed him out to be someone who cannot be trusted and that he was a compulsive liar.

She said, “My gut always told me you couldn’t be trusted. I now know you say the same things you say to me to multiple women. I’m nothing special, I was just the one you didn’t let have a happy life.”
