Sidelined Manchester United prospect Mason Greenwood might be on his way out of the club as the club might use him as a makeweight in attempts of trying to sign the Atlanta striker Ramus Hojlund. The English club is reportedly very interested to sign a Denmark striker from Atlanta.

According to reports, Atlanta is interested in signing Greenwood on loan and this might help Man United to convince the Serie A club to lower Hojlund’s transfer price by allowing the club value. Hojlund is the kind of striker that Eric Ten Hag will love to have in his team to lead the lines.

Erik Ten Hag is very much interested in the Danish striker from Atlanta and might offer Greenwood to lower the asking price for the player. Hojlund has reportedly been on the top of Erik Ten Hag’s list. According to reports, Man United are set to agree to a £50 million for the youngster.

Hojlund is one of the newest addition to the famed Scandinavian supply line of strikers. Although he is not as monstrous as Erling Haaland, he is nimbler and faster than the menacing Norwegian. Hojlund also has a similar hunger for goals but on a much more human scale. The 20-year-old has already expressed his love for the Old Trafford residents and will surely be a good target man for the team, a position United have been looking to strengthen ever since Wayne Rooney left.

Mason Mount signed for Manchester United following his departure from his childhood club Chelsea earlier this week. Mount had been very clear about his stance to leave the club at the end of the upcoming season 2024. This is the reason why he did renew his contract at Stamford Bridge.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Man United signed Mount from Chelsea for a fee worth € 55 million and €5 million add-ons. The player has also been given the fabled no. 7 shirt at the club. The club sold Mount this summer as they were reluctant to let him leave the club next year for free.

Mount pushed really hard to get the transfer done as Chelsea kept on signing new players in his position. He saw his minutes dwindle from 2364 in the 21/22 season to 1655 last term. This also affected the way he could leave his mark in the games. The 24-year-old and Manchester United had a proper agreement of contract and personal terms in place too. Mount is set to stay at the club until 2028.
