Marco Asensio set to bid goodbye to Real Madrid at the end of season, PSG emerges as hotspot destination

Marco Asensio is most likely to leave Real Madrid at the end of the summer. The player signed with the club in 2014 and has given his services for nine years. Marco Asensio has gained much popularity and recognition in the football world for playing for Real Madrid. But now Los Blancos are not looking forward to providing a contract extension to the 29-year-old Spanish player. And for now, Paris Saint-German has shown interest in signing the player.
At the moment, Marco Asensio does not have many clubs waiting for him. However, as per some reports, there are three clubs that are showing interest in signing the Spanish player. Reportedly AC Milan, Aston Villa, and PSG are the three clubs.
Out of these three clubs, the French giants have shown a lot of interest in signing Asensio. PSG is in a very difficult situation for now as the three stars of the club have decided to leave the club. Lionel Messi has confirmed that he is leaving the club this summer, Kylian Mbappe is linked with Real Madrid for a transfer in 2024, and Neymar Jr is currently linked with Manchester United
PSG is looking for replacements for these and has started the process by speculating to crack the deal with Asensio. However, the Aston Villa and AC Milan might disturb PSG is signing Asensio.
The Spanish player is currently in talks with PSG and the fans might see the player playing in Parc de Princess from the next season. And Los Blancos have no problem with this deal if it happens in the future.

Why Marco Asensio becomes a prime target for PSG?
PSG had become more popular after the signing of Lionel Messi in the year 2021. The fans thought the trio of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe would win the Champions League trophy for the club. However, that never happened and now all three players have decided to leave the club.
Lionel Messi has decided to leave the club because he never reached his full potential while playing for the club. And also the fans have not treated Messi well after he went on an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia.
The same goes for Neymar, the fans have not treated the Brazilian player properly and have protested against the player in front of his house. And Mbappe is rumored to leave the club because he doesn’t like the plans of the club and he doesn’t see himself as fit for the plans of PSG. Keeping all this in mind, PSG owners definitely are looking forward to bringing in a veteran and Asensio can very well fill that void.
