Marcus Rashford has come under fire from social media fans online for his poor run of form. However, some fans have taken it a step further calling out the player on his actions which some have deemed to be egotistical.
Online football fans think Marcus Rashford has a big ego at his club. They say he acts like a top-tier player by getting upset when he loses the ball and not helping in defense. However, they don’t see him as one of the best. A recent tweet with the caption “Ego like Ronaldo, but skills like Gabby Agbonlahor,” gained attention. It happened when he let Casemiro, a five-time Champions League winner, walk in front of him onto the pitch. Usually, the best player goes last.
This is not the first time the player has been relentlessly mocked by social media. The player was a victim of a 2-minute TikTok video that showcased every error he made against Crystal Palace on the 30th of September. United fans are baffled by what is happening to their star player. Last season Marcus was the best player at the club scoring goals for fun and at times single-handedly winning United several games. This season he has looked like a shell of what he was last season.
Marcus Rashford will most likely feature in United’s upcoming game against Galatasaray in the Champions League. The player will be looking to recreate what he managed last season as Manchester United have had a tumultuous start to the season

Twitter Reacts to Marcus Rashford walking out after Casemiro
The clip shared has been recieved all types of comments with many agreeing that Marcus Rashford is egotistical and thinks he is world-class. However, many have also pointed out that too much is being made off of a short clip and the uploader is just ‘reaching at straws’ to make the player look bad owing to his poor form.
Problems are magnified when things are going wrong and fans online feel this is one of those situations as no clips such as this were shared last season when the forward player was scoring goals after goals. Here are some of the reactions:
The England International’s change in fortune is yet to be seen as Rashford has struggled to perform this season. With the arrival of Danish Striker Rasmus Hojlund, the forward may just have to bite the bullet and start crossing the ball in order to feed the young striker.
