Sheikh Jassim has offered his final price to Manchester United. The Qatari has been competing with Sir Jim Ratcliffe for the takeover of Manchester United. The Glazers have been holding out for a price in the region of $5 billion to $6 billion.

In addition to the purchase price, Qatari’s proposal includes a commitment to personally invest a large amount of extra resources and infrastructure into the Club. The Glazers’ have been looking to sell the club but have been raising their asking price continually regarding the club.

The Manchester United supporters have made their thoughts on their owners quite clear. Fans have been protesting the Glazers’ ownership since 2010, and they may finally get their wish. It does look increasingly likely that the Red Devils will get taken over by a new owner, the questions are who and by when.
