Following recent reports that Manchester United and Mason Greenwood have mutually decided to part ways, news has come forth that unless the club manages to offload the player soon, it would result in financial losses for the club. After United conducted an internal investigation following the dropping of charges against the player, multiple Saudi clubs have come forth to acquire the service of the youngster.
However, the summer transfer window nears its closure and unless the club manages to offload the player within the stipulated time period, Manchester United will incur losses in millions. As per contractual agreements, the player is tied to the club till 2025. Hence, he must join a new club before the end of this summer window. If there is a failure in regards to that then United will have to pay the wages of the player till 2025. Until the player runs down his contract.
Now, the club must face trouble with this as there are multiple clubs looking to acquire Greenwood’s services. Though it remains to be seen who makes the move first. Reportedly, Saudi club Al Ettifaq are looking to make a bid soon. While there are some European clubs as well who are said to be interested in the player.
Roma is one of such clubs, that have been rumored to have shown interest. With a chance of a reunion with the ex-United boss, Jose Mourinho. Albeit the Portuguese has denied any links to the transfer. Fans are eager to see what will be his next destination.
Manchester United eye Benfica shot-stopper Odysseas Vlachodimos

Manchester United will try to acquire the services of Benfica keeper Odysseas Vlachodimos before the window closes. This is according to the reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano. Given the departures of David De Gea and the expected offloading of backup keeper Dean Henderson, United will be in need of an understudy for new signing André Onana.
It is understood that Onana will likely retain the starting position though Erik ten Hag is looking for competition and will soon have two differently profiled goalkeepers at his disposal. Vlachodimos will likely star in Cup games or feature when the Nigerian keeper is injured and out of action.
