Manchester United star Mason Mount’s profile on a dating app went viral on social media after images of the same were shared by fans online. The picture of his profile on the app carried the bio, ‘Visiting Manchester from London’.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who currently plays for Manchester United, has been in the headlines for some time now. Mount was signed by the Red Devils in July 2023 for a transfer fee of £55 million, from rivals Chelsea. Rumors circulated about him joining the A-list dating app ‘Raya’ after he confirmed his split from British model Chloe Wealleans-Watts. He had cited football as a priority when asked about his break-up on a popular news outlet.

In October of last year, the midfielder officially announced his separation from Chloe after a five-year relationship. Viral images of Mount’s dating app profile attracted fans, who turned their attention to the bio that the player had posted mentioning being from London, currently in Manchester, and providing details about his club status. The England international additionally identified himself as being in the ‘athletics’ industry. Fans also took notice of his profile picture, featuring him wearing black goggles and a white shirt at what seemed to be a party.

The midfielder, who has a reported net worth of £20 million and has 5.4 million followers on social media, joined fellow Chelsea player, defender Ben Chilwell, in signing up for the exclusive dating app.

Mason Mount’s stats since joining Manchester United

The 25-year-old midfielder who signed for Manchester United in the summer transfer window of 2023, has been under a lot of criticism due to underwhelming performances this season. In 12 matches played for the Red Devils, Mason Mount has failed to score a single goal, much to the dismay of both fans and club officials.

After arriving at United, he took over Cristiano Ronaldo’s No.7 jersey and was expected to play a huge role under manager Erik ten Hag. The midfielder has however fallen short of these expectations, failing to score a single goal for the club, while assisting once.

The Englishman is now recovering from a calf injury that he sustained in November, last year. He is expected to be out of action in January. Mount’s performance statistics at United sharply contrast with his achievements at Chelsea, where he scored 33 goals in 195 appearances across all competitions.
