Hollywood star Michael B Jordan set to assist in DESIGNING Bournemouth’s new kit; owner assures he ‘loves football’

Renowned American actor, Michael B Jordan, had bought a minority stake in English club AFC Bournemouth in 2022. The Creed star was invited by Bill Foley to invest in the club after he took over in 2022. Now, he is set to design the club’s kits which will go on sale in a few days.
Bill Foley called Michael B Jordan a “terrific person” and he loves football. He claimed that by getting the actor as an investor, they hope he can increase the popularity of the club thanks to his stardom. Foley further added that Jordan is down to earth and is very engaged in the club.
He’s a very down to Earth, common individual. He hasn’t got stars in his eyes. He loves football. He is really helping us in terms of our international marketing and marketing in the US. He’s designing a kit that will go on sale shortly. He’s engaged and we love having him. I believe he’s going to be in Bournemouth today and tomorrow to watch practice. Meanwhile, the club’s kits are designed by English sports equipment manufacturer, Umbro. The brand signed a 5-year contract with the club in 2017 but signed an extension in 2021.
Bournemouth beat Queens Park Rangers to go through the next round of the FA Cup
AFC Bournemouth traveled to London to face Championship side, Queens Park Rangers, in the 3rd round of the FA Cup on 6th January 2024. In their clash, the Red Cherries went 2-0 down within the first half as Sinclair Amstrong and Lydon Dykes scored in just 2 minutes.
Needing a win to go through, Bournemouth completed their comeback within 25 minutes of the 2nd half. Strikes from Marcus Tavernier, Kieffer Moore, and substitute Justin Kluivert ensured Bournemouth left the Loftus Road Stadium with the qualification to the next round of the FA Cup.
Bournemouth currently lie 12th in the Premier League, just three points behind Newcastle United and Chelsea. So far they have won only 7 games out of the 20 League games they have played. Their recent match was against Tottenham Hotspur, which they lost 3-1. Now, they will face league leaders, Liverpool on the 21st of January, over two weeks after their FA Cup victory.
