So, I'm less surprised than maybe some others. I thought it had already happened, to be honest, in this season but he was injured for a while and that's why he couldn't do it [earlier]. Otherwise, it would have happened in January or February. So, great, very good and and, as I said, great to have him back.

Klopp also said he was happy with how Salah played the entire 90 minutes. He confirmed that Salah was not supposed to play the entire match, but yet stayed on the pitch. Klopp also informed the winger to not defend.

Mohamed Salah says Jurgen Klopp’s departure won’t affect his decision to leave

Jurgen Klopp announced in late January that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. He claimed he didn’t have the energy for his job anymore and was going to take a break. With this news, many expected a few Liverpool players to leave the club, not wanting to stay without Klopp.

Mohamed Salah is one of those player and is linked to Saudi Arabia. But Salah has confirmed if he leaves, it won’t be due to Klopp’s departure.

No, no. It's life. It's part of life now, everything moves. Players left the club already, very important players left the club. One day I will leave the club, but no.
