“My favorite player is…”- Real Madrid potential target chooses this star over Neymar
Endrick Felipe and Vinicius Jr.
Brazilian wonderkid Endrick Felipe says Vinicius Jr. is his “preferred” player above Neymar amid Real Madrid rumours. Endrick became the youngest player to play for Palmeiras in professional football this week when he made his debut against Coritiba, garnering a tonne of attention in Brazil.
Scouts from Real Madrid were present and kept a close eye on the player’s performance as Palmeiras cruised to a comfortable 4-0 victory. According to reports, Los Blancos have even begun their recruitment effort for the football whizkid, who is thought to be the most exciting prospect in South American football.
Despite being pursued by other teams, such as FC Barcelona, Endrick appears committed to the concept of joining Real Madrid. By recently admiring Vinicius Junior, the striker may have now alluded to his desire to join the European champions. He cited the Real Madrid forward as his favourite player in the world, beating out Neymar, a legend in Brazilian football.
“My favourite player in the world is Vinicius Jr. Obviously Neymar is amazing as well, but I prefer Vinicius,”
Vinicius Jr and Neymar are the inspiration for many
Endrick is not the first player to compliment Vinicius this year, the Brazilian has received a lot of positive attention as a result of his strong start to the season. He is even one of Europe’s top players this season with seven goals and four assists.
But Endrick’s remarks are very important because they might be an indication of his desire to join Real Madrid and team up with Vinicius. However, Los Blancos haven’t made any significant progress in their efforts to sign the youthful attacker. Although the player won’t be able to move to Spain until he is 18 years old, negotiations with Palmeiras are thought to be in progress.

Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward is still unstoppable, and he plays a significant role in the champions’ seven-game winning streak this season. When it mattered most, Vini scored to make it 2-1 and destroy Real Mallorca’s dreams of being the first team to defeat Madrid in 2009 despite the absence of Karim Benzema. Vinicius, who has already scored in five straight games, is very necessary to Madrid’s chances of triumph this year.
