The Netherlands national football team’s coach Louis Van Gaal has now announced its 26-member roster that will travel to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the squad appears very strong on paper. The fans will be rooting that their squad can advance through to the knockout stages and move ahead to vie for the prestigious golden trophy.
The Netherlands is in a challenging group with Senegal, Ecuador, and Qatar and will need to be at their outright finest if they want to have any possibility of qualifying for the round of 16 stage. Forwards will struggle to score against a sturdy defensive line that includes De Vrij, Van Dijk, and De Ligt. Donny van de Beek is not called by the Dutch boss as he is struggling with his club Manchester United.
Frankie De Jong and Denzel Dumfries will aim to put all of their effort and inventiveness into the midfield to assist their front line in finding the ball in the net.
