Neymar And Gabriel Jesus’ got matching tattoos after the Olympics: Here’s why?

Gabriel Jesus and Neymar both have similar tattoos that represent their aspirations to become professional football players when they were little. The two, who started out in modest circumstances, have developed into two of Brazil’s most promising athletes and have amassed several awards at the top level.
The two have recognized precisely where they come from with their ink, and their journeys have been comparable. Neymar accomplished it first, and Jesus soon followed suit after being inspired by the former Barcelona star. Before the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, when Brazil advanced all the way and defeated Germany on penalties to win the Gold on home soil, the two displayed their matching tattoos side by side.
Neymar and Gabriel Jesus got twin tattoos after the Olympics:
Jesus got tattooed up on his forearm, while Neymar has one on his left leg. Both tattoos depict a little child in a slum, holding a football under his arm and wearing a Brazil cap, gazing up at the buildings and dreaming of glory.
Prior to being a colleague and friend of Neymar, Jesus, who climbed the ranks at Palmeiras before joining Manchester City, was merely a fan of the Brazilian player. Additionally, he believes that the tattoo “means everything in one picture” and embodies the aspirations of many Brazilians.
In a 2017 article for The Players’ Tribune, Jesus stated, “When we won the gold medal, it was a fantastic moment for us, and for the country. Before the tournament, Neymar got a tattoo, and I was inspired to get a similar one because it really says everything in one picture.”
“It’s a little kid, and he’s standing at the bottom of a hill, looking up at the favelas. He’s just holding a football under his arm and dreaming. That’s not just me, and it’s not just Neymar. It’s so many Brazilians. And that’s what winning gold meant to us.”
Jesus will join Arsenal on a five-year agreement for a cost of £50 million after scoring 95 goals and winning four Premier League championships in five years with City. He will don the No. 9 jersey left by Alexandre Lacazette and is anticipated to be the primary man up front for the Gunners.
