“No DNA test needed”- Twitter reacts as Lionel Messi’s son Mateo dribbles past three defenders and scores a beautiful goal

Mateo Messi scored a spectacular wondergoal that would make his father, Lionel Messi, proud. With his footwork and breathtaking finishing, the 6-year-old resembled his father.

Messi’s performances on the football field have entertained the world for the past decade and a half. Many consider Argentina’s superstar to be the greatest player to ever play the game, and if the recent clip of Mateo’s goal is any indication, the world may witness another Messi who will leave it in awe with his abilities.

Mateo (born in 2015) and his older brother Thiago (born in 2012) are both attending the Paris Saint-Germain academy. After their father’s famous move to the French club, both of them left the FC Barcelona academy last year.

Football fans went wild on Twitter watching Lionel Messi’s son Mateo’s viral video

Concerning Mateo’s goal, a video of it has gone viral on social media. Fans are ecstatic about Mateo’s goal and have been lavishing praise on him. Mateo begins the clip by running past one opposing player with a fine piece of skill before dribbling through two.

Mateo creates space for himself in front of two more players and one of his teammates waiting for a pass before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the top left corner. Mateo, like his father, did everything with his left foot, which enraged social media users.

It didn’t take long for the clip to go viral, with fans drooling over it. While some fans began comparing him to Cristiano Ronaldo’s son, some Barcelona fans urged their club to sign the promising footballer. One fan saw Messi’s traits in his son and stated that there was no need for a DNA test.

Mateo Messi is no way near his father’s legacy but if the video is anything to go by, Leo Messi won’t be the last Messi we would be taking in world football.
