“Not as good as it should be”- Football pundit compares Manchester United’s attacking line with other Premier League clubs

Gary Neville and Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester United has the weakest attacking line among the six largest clubs in the English Premier League, according to Gary Neville, the club’s former captain. He claims that the front three at Old Trafford clearly need to be improved. Despite having only scored 18 league goals thus far this year, United fell to Aston Villa 3-1 yesterday. Yesterday, Cristiano Ronaldo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Marcus Rashford made up United’s attacking line.
At a boisterous Villa Park, Aston Villa defeated Manchester United 3-1 to give their new manager Unai Emery the finest possible start. United’s captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, could only watch as Villa quickly took the lead through Leon Bailey and Lucas Digne in the opening 11 minutes. In a recent interview Neville said “You look at Tottenham who have Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son. Manchester United would definitely like to have those three,”
“Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. United would be willing to sign to have them. Liverpool have Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino. Definitely one of those three trumps those at United.”
“Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz and Pieree Emerick Aubameyang. One would even take the three. Manchester United’s attacking line is not as good as it should be.”
Cristiano Ronaldo’s fight during the game between Aston Villa and Manchester United

Dermot Gallagher, a former Premier League official, has commented on the incident involving Tyrone Mingus and Cristiano Ronaldo during Manchester United’s 3-1 loss to Aston Villa on Sunday. At Villa Park, United’s nine-game winning streak came to an end, making for a dismal afternoon. The Reds were completely destroyed by Unai Emery’s team in the first 11 minutes, during which they scored twice and added a third goal early in the second half.
As evidenced by Lisando Martinez and Leon Bailey’s struggle for the ball soon after the hour mark, which prompted the Villa player to criticize Anthony Taylor’s performance after the game, irritation could be felt around the field. The biggest incident of the game, though, occurred just moments earlier when Ronaldo and Mings almost fought inside the penalty area and had to be separated by their teammates.
After arguing for position, the United captain for the day refused to back down, and there was a scuffle on the field as players from both sides shoved and pushed one another. Now that Gallagher has spoken about the incident, he believes both Ronaldo and Mings received the proper punishment by receiving yellow cards.
