Odion Ighalo was one of the earliest players who moved to Saudi Arabia. Ighalo now has criticized Cristiano Ronaldo for his move to Al Nassr. Ighalo claims Ronaldo only moved to Saudi Arabia for money. The former Manchester United man joined the Saudi League in 2022.

Ighalo took shots at Ronaldo and said, “Ronaldo has earned 100 times more than I have in my entire life, and yet he went to Saudi Arabia. Did he do that out of passion? It’s for money, bro.” The Striker has questioned the passion that Ronaldo will show for Al Nassr. Also, Ighalo plays for Al Nassr’s direct rivals Al Hilal, so the criticism was more fierce.

Ighalo also gave his comment on his career. The striker claimed he believed in passion when he was younger. He said he played with passion and desire for the game at a younger age. He also said he started focusing on playing for money as he got older. He compared himself to Ronaldo and said even Ronaldo played for passion when younger.
