“Only club in the world that have no money”- Bayern Munich manager takes dig at FC Barcelona over its financial crisis

Robert Lewandowski’s transfer from Bayern Munich has now been officially announced by FC Barcelona. Before the first preseason game versus DC United, Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann expressed his frustration at Robert Lewandowski’s signing by FC Barcelona to the media.

After 8 amazingly successful seasons at Bayern, the Polish attacker is leaving the club, but this summer he made the decision to openly force his departure.

Nagelsmann has every right to be unhappy, as losing a striker as Lewy has surely hurt Bayern despite their incredible summer. Later on, at the same news conference, the coach gave fans the reassurance that even without Sadio Mane, Bayern will find a way to continue scoring goals.

FC Barcelona is signing players in spite of the financial crisis:

Nagelsmann isn’t the only footballer to wonder how Barcelona is able to continue bringing in players despite their poor financial situation. A similar query was posed to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano earlier in the summer.

“It is the only club in the world that have no money, but then buys all the players they want. I don’t know how they do it. It’s a bit strange, a bit crazy.”

It is a query that is frequently posed. Barcelona is presently €1.3 billion in debt and had trouble signing players with each transfer window. The Blaugrana have spent an additional €103 million after the signings of Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha, and Lewandowski, according to Transfermarkt.

However, the real concern is more about whether they can register participants in accordance with the regulations than if they have the money. The team has the most debt of any club in the world, although last season it was restructured, lowering the amount that will need to be paid immediately.
