Hollywood can’t keep their hands off Lionel Messi as Owen Wilson is one of the latest celebrities to witness the Argentine. He also called Messi his ‘favorite player’ and was overjoyed when Argentina lifted the World Cup. Owen Wilson was one of the luckier ones of the night as the famous Zoolander star got to meet Messi up close as he signed signatures for his children.

The stars were out in Los Angeles as Messi paid them a visit in emphatic fashion. In an away game for Inter Miami, celebrities flocked like birds to witness the Argentine in action. Stars such as Selena Gomez, Leonardo Di Caprio, and even Prince Harry were seen at the BMO stadium. NBA stars are spotted watching MLS games because of Messi’s greatness.

Major League Soccer is in love with Lionel Messi. Their Twitter bio reads, “The goat plays here.” Every time Inter Miami plays, fans can expect to see at least a few A-list celebrities in the stadium. Sporting Legends such as Serena Williams and LeBron James have already witnessed the great man perform magic on the field this season. With 9 games still remaining, fans will be eager to see more celebrity reactions to Messi’s magic.

Post the win, Messi was seen surrounded by fans as the Argentine went for a greet-n-meet with Owen Wilson and his children. The video that went viral shows the little boy from Rosario hugging the Hollywood star before signing off his kids’ jerseys.

Ending the game with 2 assists under his belt, Lionel Messi yet again proved to be the difference in Inter Miami’s 3-1 win over LAFC away from home. One of the main highlights however was not an assist. Lionel Messi draws 3 players towards him, he finds Diego Gómez with an outside-of-the-boot pass, receives it back, fakes out Aaron Long, and attempts to chip the goalkeeper. Albeit John McCarthy denied the Argentine a glorious goal, Messi’s magic had the crowd on their feet.

Out of the two assists, one was to his former Barcelona teammate Jordi Alba and the other to Leonardo Campana. A perfectly weighted through ball to Alba made it 2-0 for the Miami side. The third goal is one of the reasons why Messi has such a huge number of assists. He was in a position where many top forwards would shoot for a goal. Rather Messi decided to lay it off for his teammate who had a clearer sight of goal making it 3-0 for Inter Miami.

Inter Miami managed to score 3 goals in 9 shots compared to LAFC’s 1 goal in 20+ shots. David Beckham’s side is still undefeated since the Argentine’s arrival.
