Paris Saint-Germain on the verge of signing Zinedine Zidane as their new manager: Reports
Zinedine Zidane
Zinedine Zidane could be on his way back to management as he is tipped to take over the reign from Mauricio Pochettino at the Parc de Princes. This is not the first time PSG have turned their attention to the former Real Madrid boss who won 3 consecutive Champions League titles with the Los Blancos.
PSG today officially announced the appointment of former Monaco and Lille director, Luis Campos as the new sporting director. The next step for the Qatari-owned club is to find a new manager with Zinedine Zidane and Christopher Galtier top of their wishlist.

“I hope Zinedine Zidane Comes back” – France president Emmanuel Macron also wants the Frenchman at PSG
Macron told RMC Sport, “I haven’t spoken to Zinedine Zidane, but I have immense admiration for him, the player, the coach. We really want to have, in the French championship, an athlete and coach of this talent who has been able to bring back three major cups that we covet a lot for our clubs.”
Zinedine Zidane has only ever managed Real Madrid in his managerial career. He took charge of the Santiago Bernabeu two times from 2015 to 2018 and then again for the 2019-20 season. However, 49 year old would now feel comfortable taking charge of a new club.
PSG is the perfect fit for Zidane. Their squad is similar to that of Real Madrid back in 2015, filled with superstars and talented footballers. And Zidane is one of the best when it comes to getting the best out of world-class players. Reports even suggest that the Frenchman is currently flying to Qatar to sign his new contract with PSG.
