AS Roma are real candidates for Paulo Dybala’s signature as Inter Milan stall

As per Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport, Jose Mourinho has a personal phone call with Paulo Dybala to explain to him his project and convince the Argentine to sign for the Rome-based club.

The report also suggests that Dybala has a positive talk with Mourinho and has agreed to a move to AS Roma, once the salary is accepted by both parties. However, Inter Milan remains the player’s first choice.

Inter Milan is currently stalling talks with Paulo Dybala as they need to sell players before they can afford to sign Dybala. The club needs to offload the likes of Alexis Sanchez and either of Eden Dzeko or Joaquin Correa to make room for Dybala.

The Giallorossi see this as the perfect opportunity to try and convince Dybala to sign for them as Inter might not be able to offload their players in time, with the start of the season barely a month away.

Reports suggest that Napoli and Manchester United are also in the race for the former Juventus man. While Napoli is ready to match Roma’s salary offer, Manchester United are still evaluating their forward options with Ajax’s Antony also a target.

Paulo Dybala has established himself as one of the most versatile forwards in Italy. Since his move to Juventus, the player managed 115 goals and 48 assists in 293 games for the Old Lady. While he aims to stay in Italy, a move away is still a possibility.
