As for Porro’s goal, the Spanish defender picked up the ball near the attacking end before positioning himself at the right edge of the box. He then unleashed a belter of a strike, which swerved outwards and then in. Burnley keeper Arijanet Muric was caught ‘ball-watching’ as Porro’s strike hit the top right side-netting.

“He misses a lot but today it came off” – Brennan Johnson all jokes as Pedro Porro nets crucial winner against Burnley

While the reporter suggested that it was an unbelievable strike, Brennan breathed under his voice that it was a “lucky” goal. However, he quickly laughed it off, claiming that Porro has the quality on the ball and that it was the right decision to do so from that range.

He shoots a lot in training, misses a lot but today it came off.

Adding to that, Johnson elaborated on how this year might be Tottenham’s best chance yet to grab silverware in the FA Cup. As it stands, Spurs are through to the 4th round of the Cup.

Yeah, we can't slack off or play half-hearted in this competition. If we keep building momentum, I think we've got every chance.

Spurs are currently 5th in the Premier League.
