Ahead of the clash between two English Premier League title-chasers, Liverpool and Manchester City on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp labeled Pep Guardiola as the “best coach in the world.” In a recent interview with Sky Sports, he also mentioned that if anybody doubts the Spaniard, he has no idea about his capabilities.
Pep Guardiola said he over-thinks a lot before a Champions League game. He makes new tactics and strategies which have given him success over the years. Klopp responded to that by claiming that everybody does that because playing similar games won’t win you titles.
“Pep is the best coach in the world. I think we would all agree on that and it might be a coincidence that it didn’t work out in the Champions League so far. If anybody doubts him, I have no idea how that could happen.” said Klopp.

Manchester City and Liverpool will face each other in the title race match at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday before the Champions League second leg commences. It is the clash of two of the greatest coaches of modern-day football, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp.
Manchester City is leading the points table with just one point between them and Liverpool. They will look to increase their lead to four points whereas Liverpool will want to go for a win to overtake Manchester City in the title run.
It is a game of the giants where two great minds will clash with each other tactically. Pep Guardiola has a huge responsibility as they have just defeated Atletico Madrid in the champions league and he will have to face Jurgen Klopp’s side again within a few days.
