Manchester City are on the verge of winning a treble. The Pep Guardiola side has qualified for the Champions League final defeating Real Madrid. Keeping this in mind, the Spanish tactician reiterated in the words of Toni Kroos on Wednesday. The Cityzen coach thinks his team was ‘nearly there’ even last year after recalling the words of the Real Madrid midfielder.

Manchester City are high in spirits after winning the Premier League. The Citizens now look ahead to win the FA Cup as well as the Champions League and conquer the treble. But the Spaniard is already worried about the news of injuries ahead of the finals.
The former Barcelona coach reported that four players of the Manchester City squad are currently facing injuries after winning the title. The likes of Manuel Akanji, Aymeric Laporte, Ruben Dias, and Jack Grealish are not fit as per the current fitness report in the Manchester City camp. The injury was reported immediately after winning the seventh title. The Citizens defeated Chelsea by one goal coming from Julian Alvarez. The team played with his second lineup while giving rest to his main players.
Manchester City is looking ahead for a historic chase with the likes of all players in the squad. Pep Guardiola’s side will have a busy week. The 7 times Premier League Champions will face Ten Hag’s Manchester United in the FA Cup final on 3rd June. The side will then immediately fly to Istanbul to face Inter Milan on 10th June in the Champions League final.
