As per recent reports Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has firmly decided to leave the club at the end of his tenure. The manager, after leading Man City to a historic treble, has decided to leave the club in the summer of 2025.

Pep Guardiola was appointed as the manager of Man City in 2016 after his incredible spell at the German club Bayern Munich. The Spanish manager signed a new deal with the club in November. When Pep arrived at City in 2016 there were huge expectations from the higher authorities and fans that he would not extend his contract beyond three years.

Before managing Manchester City, Pep Guardiola also managed Barcelona and Bayern Munich. It had been thought that after winning everything in the Premier League. The Spanish manager would sign a Serie A club to complete an ambition to manage in the top four European leagues.

But besides managing a club in the Italian league the manager would also have an option to manage an international team. Pep won his 35th domestic league trophy after winning against Inter Milan in the finals of the UEFA Champions League. The Spanish manager is 13 trophies away to stand with Sir Alex Ferguson who has won 48 trophies in his entire career.

Julia Roberts a famous Hollywood superstar and an idol of Pep Guardiola recently congratulated him for winning his first UEFA Champions League title with Manchester City after eight years since he was appointed as the manager of the club.

Julia wrote on Instagram, “Congratulations @pepteam for leading your team to be UCL champions.” The Spanish manager in one of his interviews mentioned Julia as his idol. “I am a failure in the Champions League. If win the Champions League three times in a row. I will be a failure. I have three idols in my life. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, and Julia Roberts. These are my three idols.” Pep told this in an interview.

Further, the manager added: “And she went to visit Man United. She didn’t come to see us. That’s why even if I win the Champions League, it will not compare to the fact that Julia Roberts came to Manchester and didn’t come to see us. Even if I win the Champions League, it will not compare to this disappointment I had.”
